SIDE WALK SUNDAY SCHOOL JAM
(Jesus and Me)
Our sidewalk Sunday School trailer is a portable classroom and stage that allows us to go right into the neighborhood where the need is. The Gospel and the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ is shared with the people in the various settings. This is a real winner with the children who eagerly come to learn about Jesus and share in a new spiritual life. Headed up by Eddie and Nannett Brooks, this is a tremendous hit with young and old alike.

ANGEL TREE
Jim Williams of Operation NOW has been section leader over 22 southern counties in IL. for the Angel Tree program. In these 22 counties alone, there will be upward of 500 names turned in. This program helps children with incarcerated parents to receive a Christmas gift from that parent.
In the fall of the year, those who are incarcerated are asked if they would like to sign up their children, ages birth through 16, in the Angel Tree program. They then fill out a card for their child and write a short note to the child. Through churches in the areas, people are found who desire to help these children. They buy a $20.00 gift for the child and put the note from the parent on it and it is delivered to the child.
